*Description:*Our client is seeking a Security Engineer to support modernization of the SOC; this resource will need to specialize in SOAR implementation.Functions:- SIEM/SOAR platform, wants to have a SIEM/SOAR Engineer come in and take a look at all of their technologies and consolidate.- Needs for Soar, automation/ orchestration ideally in Palo Alto XSOAR, ServiceNow SOAR, or Splunk Phantom.-Assist with the definition, creation, and maintenance of SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) detection rules and dashboards to provide clear, actionable insights.-Streamline our security operations by authoring comprehensive runbooks, writing automation scripts, and building SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response) capabilities to reduce manual intervention and improve response times.-Improve our overall Incident Response process and ensure our readiness against adversaries.-Design, implement, and manage SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response) solutions using Palo Alto XSoar.-Develop and maintain playbooks, integrations, and automations to streamline incident response processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and remediate security threats and vulnerabilities.Monitor and analyze security alerts, and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks.-Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members.-Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.Experience with other cybersecurity tools and platforms.Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the healthcare industry.We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
