Senior Front-End Developer Role Overview
GA is seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to join GA's Development team and build the next generation of data analysis infrastructure and tools in the political space.
We are looking for someone with the following abilities:
Organizational leadership : Model a high bar for performance; operate with the best interests of both the organization and every client in mindOrganization : Developing our technical tools on a consistent and timely scheduleProactive Problem Solving : Identify and develop solutions to challenges, constantly looking at big-picture progress, and flagging any potential upcoming challenges in the organization overallFlexibility : Ready to take advantage of unexpected opportunities; adapt quickly as things changeCooperation : Work together with analysts and other team members to effectively achieve our collective goalsIn this role, you'll collaborate closely with our internal team of digital fundraisers and fundraising strategists to produce an intuitive and reliable platform for our internal teams and external clients to do data analytics.Responsibilities:Leading front-end development projects and mentoring junior developersArchitecting and implementing complex web interfacesCollaborating with UX/UI designers, internal analysts and back-end developersEnsuring web application scalability and performanceDriving logging and monitoring of critical user activityEvaluating and adopting emerging front-end technologiesConducting code reviews and maintaining code qualityAdvocating for web accessibility and best practicesTroubleshooting and resolving technical issuesContributing to the development of coding standardsContinuously improving development processesRequired skills & experience:3+ years of proven work experience in web developmentProficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptExtensive experience with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.jsIn-depth knowledge of web accessibility standardsExperience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelinesStrong problem-solving and debugging skillsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsLeadership and project management abilitiesA track record of successful software engineering projects and case studiesCompensation
Expected $120,000-$150,000 total compensation annually based on experience
