Cloud Administrator/Engineer

Please note this role is currently listed in Annapolis Junction (NBP), MD but there is a strong possibility work can also be performed in Reston, VA.

Description:Seeking a resource to support an enterprise HCM transformation effort that involves standing up a new Oracle Cloud HCM environment within the US Intelligence community. Those who excel in this role are motivated self-starters who love to solve challenging problems and are comfortable both working directly with customers and with an innovative internal team.

Environments Administrator Responsibilities:

Perform user administration tasks in a cloud environmentPerform identity management tasks in a cloud environmentAuthor/maintain Standard Operating Procedures for O&M environmentsIaaS and PaaS administration experienceExposure to Linux environmentData Migration Responsibilities:

Facilitate the incremental migration of existing Agency Human Capital Management (HCM) data to the new Oracle Cloud HCM environment

Develop and support modifications/extensions to the project's source data extraction, source data error identification, and source data transformation processesSupport loading data, monitoring progress, and reporting errorsSupport, compile, and summarize identified data issues and proposed fixes to the Maryland Program Office (MPO) for review and decision on resolutionCorrect data ingest/validation issues

Move historical data from the legacy system to a Database as a Service (DBaaS) Virtual Machine (VM) instanceUse Cloud HCM to manage data quality by leveraging build edits and a rules engine for data entry to control data as it is entered, and through workflowsImplement Mass Personnel Action Processing (PAR) corrections using automated methods to correct dataQualifications:

User administration experience in any cloud environmentIdentity Management experience in any cloud environmentFourteen (14) years' experience as an engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexityTechnical flexibility to work with on-premises and cloud-based tools and applicationsBachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is requiredFive (5) years of additional experience on projects with similar processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degreeIdeal Candidate:

Technical experience developing/supporting in Linux environmentTechnical experience in Oracle RDBMS development, preferably SQL, PL/SQLTechnical experience developing/supporting solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS)Experience with Oracle HCM cloud upgrade, support, and maintenance toolsExperience with Oracle Functional Setup Manager (FSM)/Oracle Fusion Configuration Package ManagementExperience with Oracle Fusion HCM administration (User management, Process Scheduling, etc.)*

In lieu of HCM experience, a motivated self-starter who is willing to learn Oracle SaaS applications*
