Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Business Intelligence Architect to lead our efforts in harnessing data to drive strategic business decisions. This role is ideal for someone who is not only technically proficient but can also think strategically to impact business outcomes significantly. With at least 6 years of experience in the field, the ideal candidate will excel in designing comprehensive BI solutions, rather than merely constructing reports. You will act as a key architect within the team, shaping how data is used to inform and transform business strategies.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement advanced data architectures that integrate various business systems and provide scalable analytics frameworks.Lead cross-functional projects from a BI perspective, translating business needs into robust and sustainable data solutions.Develop strategic plans for the deployment of information and analytics platforms and systems.Synthesize complex data from multiple sources to extract trends, make business recommendations, and implement actionable strategies.Mentor and guide team members in advanced analytical techniques and best practices in data management.Act as a liaison between the business intelligence team and senior management, ensuring that BI strategies align with overall business goals.Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and data sets that can enhance our analytical capabilities.Prepare and present high-level reports and analyses to executive teams, illustrating data-driven insights with clear strategic implications.Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related technical field.Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in a Business Intelligence (BI) role, leading and executing large-scale, data-driven projects.Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools, including advanced SQL, Python, and other programming languages such as R, Scala, or Java, specifically for ETL processes, data wrangling, and automation.Extensive experience with modern BI platforms like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and familiarity with building custom data visualizations and dashboards that can handle high-volume datasets.Strong knowledge of data architecture, data modeling, and database design principles, with experience in both relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).Ability to work with APIs and data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) to aggregate and streamline data for reporting and analysis.Experience in predictive analysis and deriving data insights to enable business decisions and strategic forecasting.Experience integrating machine learning models and predictive analytics into BI tools to forecast trends and provide actionable insights.Proven track record of driving strategic business decisions by collaborating with cross-functional teams, translating complex technical findings into business terms.Excellent leadership and communication skills with experience interacting with executive management, technical teams, and external stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on overseeing data integration projects across multiple platforms and ensuring data quality and governance compliance.Preferred Qualifications:

Experience as a BI Architect or in a similar strategic role within large and complex organizations.Knowledge of data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modeling) and data mining techniques.
