Position Description:
The Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Analysis Team Product Owner (PO) will work as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office (PO). The product owner will provide oversight and prioritization of the Analysis team. The product owner will work with Solution management in setting priorities of the team for each product increment and sprint. The position will include technical briefings and advisement to leadership on the status and recommended courses of action, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts on the IFMC mission.
Basic Qualifications:
The candidate must have experience running end-to-end simulations of missile defense systems and performing post run analysis. Ability to communicate complex technical issues to leadership. Ability to work with multiple customers and prioritize competing requests with management support.
The candidate must:• Be fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset.• Be a US citizen.• Have a bachelor's degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences, or mathematics.• Have a minimum of 7 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above.
Other Qualifications:
An additional plus is knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS. Prior Product Owner experience on a SCRUM or KANBAN team is a plus.
Security Requirements:
Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance or higher.
