Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Newark, DE and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities:Responsible for the management of the full life cycle of activities to implement technology changeLead large complex Shared Integration and Data Services initiative projects responsible for project design oversight, delivery and budgetWork closely with business partners to define strategies for technical solutions, determine requirements, and develop functional designs based on the analysis of line of business needs, objectives and existing or newly proposed system infrastructureCoordinate with multiple application teams, testers, system architects and line of business partners to ensure requirements and functional designs are translated accurately into working technical designs and that test plans and scripts serve customer needsCommunicate the solution intent and the associated operating environment, determines the primary systems/subsystems and their interfaces, defining functional requirements to support new epics/featuresEnsures the solution is fit for purpose and use by working with stakeholders, system architects, vendors, and service providersClarifies the solution architecture for the development teams to support implementation, and provides solution options to resolve any impedimentsHelp drive defect resolution to ensure code is functioning as designedOrchestrate project scoping/estimates for new technologies and planned initiatives to enable stakeholders to determine best path forward while assisting with project prioritization and application capacity to support that workEducates team members on the technology practices, standardization strategies and best practices to create innovative solutionsProduce detailed project plans and frequent project status updatesManage risk and ensures appropriate risk escalations occurQuickly and concisely communicate issues or impediments to senior managementEnsure adherence to enterprise standards, compliance and policies in effect
Requirements:
10+ years in technology industry5 years related project management experienceProgram Management and Project ManagementStrong leadership skills with ability to orchestrate and drive multiple project teams/work streams to meet project deadlinesAssertive individual with the ability to execute with limited directionAbility to identify and engage key stakeholders to facilitate and drive progress and resolutionExcel in time management and simultaneously manage multiple yet unrelated eventsCapability to distill complex information from various sources to formulate a strategic plan of executionStrong written and verbal communication skills, including senior managementTeam player who is comfortable leading cross-functional teams inclusive of business, operations, and technologyAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver under pressureExperience with JIRAStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, advanced skills with ExcelExperience working in an Agile development environmentPossess intellectual curiosityTenacious extrovert
Desired Skills:
Experience with credit card technologyMS Project
Pay Range:
$52.10-$60.10
