Overview/ Job Responsibilities
Sev1Tech is seeking an experienced Network Implementation Engineer to support the meshONE-T program. meshONE-T is the ground component of the larger meshONE concept and will eventually integrate with the Air and Space components of meshONE to provide an end-to-end network solution across all mediums, environments, and warfighting domains.
Troubleshoots network issues-installs and upgrades network equipment and softwareCreates and maintains documentation relating to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service recordsEstablishes and documents network technical support processes and proceduresPractices network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specificationsMonitors and tests network performance and provides network performance statistics and reportsAble to communicate effectively with other project groups such as cybersecurity, network, operations, and Program Management teams during the installation and troubleshooting of systems componentsSupport of all updates to all documents when there is change in the transport design and/or technologies and collaborating with all stakeholdersCONUS/OCONUS travel requiredSalary Range:
135k- 150K (negotiable)
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Layer 3 routing TCP/IP, Cyber Security Operations/Administration, RF/SATCOM Operations/MaintenanceUnderstanding of networking and fundamentals of network troubleshootingUnderstanding of network transport design, equipment, and infrastructureAbility to work in remote locations with minimal support, lift a minimum of 50lbs and be comfortable working with your hands and using toolsCurrent Security + certificationSECURITY CLEARANCE: Current active Secret clearance and eligible for Top Secret/SCI
Desired Qualifications
Experience with NetBrain, Network Services Orchestrator, Solarwinds, Infoblox, and ITSMKnowledge of/experience with space mission systemsFamiliarity with VM, Linux, and/or Windows environmentsExperience with field-based work in government/contractor data centers and colocation facilities
