Job Description

SUMMARY

The Social Worker provides therapeutic counseling services and clinical interventions to all students. Develops counseling goals to support academic progress for both general and exceptional education students. Supports the campus education team to identify, access, and evaluate eligibility for services.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSMaster's degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate school of social workDependable mode of transportation

Availability to work flexible hours as needed

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTSBilingual - Spanish/English

Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) issued by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health

AHCCCS provider number

Effective: 2024 - 2025 SCHOOL YEARSites: Gale Elementary School - Broadway & Camino Seco Area - .5 FTE

Henry Elementary School - Speedway & Camino Seco Area - .5 FTE

FTE: 1.0 - 7.5 hours per dayWork Calendar: 9.5 month

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language.

Probationary Contracts will be issued for any positions that are 0.6 FTE or less, and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
