We’re looking for talented, passionate product owners to join the Dish family and drive our business forward by delivering world-class software to our customers, partners, and employees.Key Responsibilities:Lead a cross-functional team to ensure the team delivers products that meet business requirements/needs and delivers business and operational value to customersEnsure product roadmap and vision are communicated to the development teamBreak down and prioritize the delivery of products and features by developing and maintaining the product backlog, user stories, and cross-product dependencies.Elicit, identify, document, and refine requirements from business problems to detailed user stories and acceptance criteria that may include technical requirements.Proactively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, developers, QA, and other team members to analyze information and functional requirements, advocate the development process through to implementation, and ensure the delivered product meets business needs.Perform acceptance testing for user stories and featuresCollaborate with stakeholders/developers/QA during product development through implementationManage stakeholder needs & requests while balancing product roadmap prioritiesFacilitate iteration planning sessions, daily team stand-ups, grooming sessions, and retrosTrack and report on teamwork completed, capacity, backlog, velocity, etcForecast product/feature delivery timelinesUse metrics and feedback to improve team and organization processes, best practices, performance, and deliveryAssist with deployments and production support issues
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:BA/BS in a technical or business discipline (information systems, engineering, computer science, finance, business administration, or accounting)4+
years of Product Owner, Product Manager, Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, Project Manager or equivalent combination of education and experienceSkills and Qualifications:Excellent organizational, facilitation, and written/verbal communication skillsSelf-motivation with strong, proven, analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to collaborate with cross-functional resources and work well in a distributed environmentDemonstrated understanding of and experience using Agile processes and methodologiesAbility to plan for future work while maintaining the current delivery with rapidly changing prioritiesRally / CA Agile Central experience a plusTechnical proficiency in APIs, Java or JavaScript, or other programming languages a plusRecommended Certifications:Agile Certified Product Manager Product Owner (ACPMPO)Certified Scrum Master (CSM)SAFe Product Manager / Product Owner (SPMPO)Project Manager Professional (PMP)
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $83,160.00/Year - $118,800.00/YearBenefits
