Advantage Tech is searching for a Sr. Network Engineer to join their client's team in Downtown Kansas City, Mo.
Job Responsibilities:Design and implement complex network solutions, including LAN, WAN, and WLAN.Develop detailed network diagrams and documentation for network design and planning.Evaluate and recommend new networking technologies and upgrades.Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues in a timely manner.Analyze network traffic and usage patterns to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.Optimize network performance by configuring and tuning network devices and services.Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to ensure seamless integration of network services.Develop and implement network disaster recovery plans.Ensure network infrastructure supports business continuity plans and objectives.Work with vendors to evaluate and select networking products and services.Manage/maintain virtual and physical server infrastructure.Assist the Support team with support requests as needed.Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
