Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a well-qualified Windows Administrator to join its Classified Solutions team in Baltimore, MD. Please note that due to the classified nature of this position, the selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time, at our Baltimore, MD campus, and that this is not a remote work opportunity.
As a Principal Windows Systems Administrator, you will perform as the primary Windows System Administrator for a large, classified government contract.
Key Responsibilities:Maintain and optimize multi-user computer systems in a classified environmentImplement system enhancements for improved performance and reliabilityManage backup, recovery, file systems, and security processesTroubleshoot issues and coordinate with various IT teams and stakeholdersAdhere to strict information security guidelines and maintain security documentationWork independently to develop solutions with minimal supervisionEssential Qualifications:
Current DoD Secret level security clearance (minimum)Valid Security+ CE, CASP, CISSP, or similar DoD 8570 security certificationExperience managing Windows Server OS and domain architecture in classified environmentsProficiency with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, WSUS/SCCMExperience with Splunk, including managing servers and creating dashboardsFamiliarity with DoD STIGs and vulnerability mitigationHigh School Diploma + 9 years or Associate's degree + 7 years experienceAbility to lift up to 40 pounds and work flexible hours as neededPreferred Qualifications:
Experience with NISPOM, RMF, JSIG, and other classified system environmentsVMware and SAN storage system knowledgeLinux operating system experienceNetworking skills (subnets, routing, VLANs) and Cisco experienceScripting abilities and experience with system imaging
