As a member of the Foundation Inference Infrastructure team, you will design and implement a diverse set of backend services and tools that power autonomy software and processes. The systems you build will have a large impact on autonomy, from fleet data collection & processing of Machine Learning workflows to evaluation and validation of the software stack.As an engineer on the Inference Infrastructure team, you bring top-notch software engineering skills and can contribute to our systems immediately. A strong candidate will either be an excellent software generalist, or someone who has an exceptionally strong backend and infrastructure background.
Responsibilities
Design and implement backend services and tools that handle fleet data collection, batch processing, inference, simulation, and evaluation based on real-world sensor dataInfluence architectural decisions with focus on security, scalability, reliability and high performanceWork closely with the other Autonomy teams to design and implement backend components required for future features and processesRequirements
Proficiency with PythonProficiency with concurrency programming and resource management concepts in LinuxFamiliarity with Operating Systems concepts such as networking, processes and file systemsExperience with Linux, container orchestrator like Kubernetes or similar and bare metal setup tools like Ansible or similarExperience with data stores like PostgreSQL and RedisExperience with hardware inference chips like TPUs at scaleFamiliarity with Golang and C++Compensation and BenefitsBenefits

$104,000 - $360,000/annual salary, depending on level + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
