Position Description:
The person selected for this role will be expected to create engaging, “sticky” analytic interfaces for an artificial intelligence (AI) platform.
Responsibilities
:
Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
Build page navigation buttons and search fields
Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams, key stakeholders, and clients
Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
Adjust UI based on user feedback
Skills:
Group facilitation of groups as small as two (2) and as large as fifty (50)
Experience wireframing and Prototyping using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch
3+ years of experience applying user research and testing user interfaces
Knowledgeable of web accessibility best practices and legal compliance frameworks such as the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act
Requirements:
Formal education in visual design principles and tools
Must hold a TOP SECRET//SCI with counterintelligence polygraph
Ideal candidate will:
Be an excellent public speaker with experience presenting to a C-suite level audience
Have experience in the Department of Defense or Intelligence Community.
