Data Modeler
for a

assignment with one of our premier financial services clients in
Irving, TX .
Responsibilities
:Develops innovative solutions and provide exceptional service to our clients in full partnership with our product teams. group is responsible for the management and execution of transactions for Markets, Credit Risk, Security Services, Information Services, Private Bank, Treasury and Trade Solutions and Operation Controls and reporting.Engaged in the application development and support for various lines of businessesIdentify data and information needs for wholesale lending business of groupDevelop conceptual, logical models and metadata solutionsPerforming Data Analysis on various data setsDesign and maintain blueprint of the information architecture, data integrations and controls aligned to the renewed business strategyUnify data concepts across disparate front office, credit risk, servicing and reporting functions of groupDetermine database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications and data from existing systemsParticipate in requirement engineering and working groups and collaborate with business leads, operations, SMEs, technologists and governance teamsDefine, model and rationalize target state solution, socialize with key stakeholders and conduct walkthroughIncorporate data standards and implement governance modelDevelop data flows, ownership matrixes, mapping and data lineagessist in the implementation of physical data model, contribute to the system and operational design, carry out optimization for usability and performanceRequired
Skills :
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experienceCertification in Data Architecture / Modeling is a plus8-10 years hand-on experience in Data Modeling and implementation using RDBMS - Oracle preferredHands-on modeling expertise using Magic Draw, Erwin or Enterprise Architect and metadata management toolsFinancial industry knowledge in wholesale lending, risk management, servicing and risk/regulatory reportingSQL query knowledge and performing data analysisProduct knowledge in commercial banking, capital and investment banking and marketsPrefer data modelling experience using Magic Draw and Cameo. Utilize Code Engineering Sets to generate executable code or a database script. Write custom macros to efficiently validate and manage data modelsKnowledge of Data Management methodologies involving architecture, modeling, storage, securityPrior experience in data integration, interoperability and data quality solutions.nalytical and problem solver, excellent verbal, written and presentation skillsPreferred
