A leading logistics company based in SouthPark, Charlotte, is seeking a skilled
Sr. Network Engineer
with 4-6 years of experience to join our growing IT team. This role reports directly to the Principal Architect and focuses on network implementation with an emphasis on Juniper and Cisco technologies. If you are passionate about building and maintaining network infrastructures with more focus on implementation rather than security, this opportunity is perfect for you.
ResponsibilitiesDesign, configure, and implement network solutions, primarily utilizing
Juniper
and
Cisco
technologies.Collaborate closely with the Principal Architect to ensure seamless integration of network systems within the company's logistics infrastructure.Handle advanced network troubleshooting and provide support for escalation issues.Monitor, analyze, and optimize network performance to ensure high availability and reliability.Assist in the development and deployment of new network infrastructure projects.Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and patching of network systems to ensure optimal performance.Document network configurations and processes, ensuring knowledge transfer and compliance with best practices.Requirements
4-6 years
of experience in a network engineering role.Strong experience working with
Juniper
and
Cisco
technologies.JNCIE certification
is required.Expertise in designing, deploying, and troubleshooting large-scale network environments.In-depth knowledge of network protocols, including BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.Hands-on experience with
network infrastructure implementation -less focus on security.Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.Ability to work onsite in
SouthPark, Charlotte, NC.
Nice to Have
Cisco certification (CCNP or CCIE).Experience in a logistics or similar industry.Familiarity with SDN (Software-Defined Networking) technologies.Experience in network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.).Perks and Benefits
