JOB TITLE: Software Engineer LOCATION: 11000 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.) DUTIES: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Duties include: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements; Responsible for developing high-quality software solutions that meet user needs and align with the organization s business goals; Interpret the business requirements to receive, manage, fulfill Benefit content and Benefit Summary content artifacts for Individual and Family Plan products; Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration with external products; Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions; and Research new technologies, advancements, and industry improvements in order to stay abreast of the latest developments and enhance the success of the product. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S. REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and two (2) years experience in the job offered or a related computer occupation. Position requires two (2) years experience in the following: Mean Stack developer; Angular; NodeJS; ExpressJS; MongoDB; Typescript; Jenkins; CI/CD; Kubernetes; and Java/J2EE.
