Operations Senior Business Analyst

CFC has a need for an Operations Senior Business Analyst to join our Loan Operations & Administration team. This is a hybrid position requiring onsite work at our headquarters office in Sterling, VA, as well as optional remote workdays. The Operations Senior Business Analyst is responsible for supporting designated loan operations functions. This includes ensuring the completion of department month end close reporting, creation of department dashboard and metrics, support of loan origination applications (requirements, testing, and defect management) and assisting on process/procedure enhancements.

As an Operations Senior Business Analyst, you will:• Prepare month end close reports, perform quality review of reports, and ensure completion by deadlines.• Produce monthly department operational dashboards and metrics for use in managing document pipeline and in analysis and decision-making.• Manage system operational readiness tasks for Loan Operations & Administration team to include tracking of system application defects/resolution, recommend defect prioritization, and assist with identification of any needed process workarounds.• Represent PMG on system development projects by providing business requirements, user acceptance test case creation and execution, and defect/enhancement triage.• Troubleshoot and resolve business user issues with lending systems.• Respond to internal audit inquiries.• Respond to corporate card inquiries and problems for members when primary is not available.• Assist on special projects and other duties as assigned.

To be successful, you will need:• Bachelor's degree in business or related field• Minimum of 5 years of experience in related field• Experience working in a front or back-office operations department.• Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.• Understanding of standard commercial lending concepts, practices, and procedures is preferred• Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines• Proven ability to collaborate with team members and customers• Proven ability to provide business requirements• Proven ability to write and execute test cases• Proven ability to troubleshoot both business problems and system issues• Advanced knowledge of system development life cycle• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Reporting & Analytics, SharePoint and ability to learn lending applications
