Title: Vulnerability Remediation Analyst

Location: La Verne, CA (Hybrid Project)

Duration: Full Time/ Contract

Looking for VA remediation candidates with minimum of total 8+ years of experience in conducting vulnerability assessment and remediation against windows as part of a team. Should be able to serve as a trusted advisor in helping customers with relevant decisions based on the findings of the reports and dashboards.

Technical Skills:

Must have 6-8+ years of experience in VA remediationDoing due diligence of vulnerabilityPrepare high level project schedulePrioritize and categorize remediation taskCo-ordinate with stake holders to prepare remediation schedulePrepare low level project scheduleMonitor and validate remediation successRaise exceptions if requiredProgress reportingFalse positive validationMonitor and validate remediation successRaise exceptions if requiredPresenting reports to client and taking signoffsITIL Foundation Certified is desirable.At least 8+ years of experience in an IT role, ideally within a professional services environmentExperience working with MS Servers and Vulnerability management.Should be able to remediate the findings which come up in scanning using scanning toolsCoordinate with apps team further to mitigate as well as closure on the sameSelf-starter personality and excellent verbal and written communication skills (English) and experience in working in multi-cultural environment.Customer centric approach, and comfortable picking up the phone to talk with end users.Worked in Windows servers trouble shooting and vulnerability management.Experience working in ITSM tool like ServiceNow, BMC RemedyShould be flexible to work in US time zone on site in customer locationPersistence to ensure deliverables are completed successfullyAn ability to clearly communicate to both business and IT audiencesWindows 2012 through 2019 Security Knowledge/ ExperienceWindows 7,10,11 Security Knowledge/ ExperienceGood Written & Verbal Communication SkillsPresentation SkillsRoles and Responsibilities

Provide vulnerability remediation supportTo perform detailed analysis and troubleshooting of VA report received and identifying vulnerabilities from tools (Qualys/ Tenable) (if present) and coordinate with end users, application owners, value steam owners either via tickets or by phone/Teams to remediate vulnerabilities.Interact and closely work with Information Security teams.Investigative with a curious mindsetCoordinate with 3rd line support team, Architects, suppliers, etc.To be able to follow and report status to stake holders and managementAbility to recommend and implement Windows Hardening on workstations and servers.Own the Windows Patching either internal SCCM or WSUS for Business.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college/university and 4+ Years of relevant work experienceAZ 500 and MS 500 Certification will be added advantage.Should have packaging knowledge in SCCMAbility to work independently with minimal direction; self-starter/self-motivatedInfluencing customers and other business partners with a high degree of autonomy, energy, enthusiasm, flexibility, and the drive to ensure a phenomenal customer experienceBuilding deep relationships with executives and technical leads within customer organizationsEstablishing technical and business credibility with senior executives and grow mind share with highly strategic customers and partnersAffinity to produce high quality documentation of processes and procedures for the usage of the toolsetExcellent analytical, organizational and communication skillsExperience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environmentInnovative self-starter with a passion to help teams using creativity to solve problems.Collaborative work ethic working in a fast-paced environmentUnderstanding of the IT and system development life cycleAbility to interact effectively with various levels within the organizationExcellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skillsPays attention to team needs and pivots his/ her approaches accordingly to support the delivery of business value.
