About the role:

GoHealth is looking for a Senior Data Engineer who will design, develop and maintain data sourcing, ingestion, and transformation solutions that will be used in reporting & analytics, data science, and other consuming applications. The Senior Data Engineer will also collaborate on building and maintenance of a world class data and analytics platform.

What you will doDesign and lead development of data ingestion and transformation pipelines in DatabricksDesign, develop and maintain automation pipelines for CI/CD, infrastructure as code, observability and alerting, and all other aspects of a world-class Databricks platformInitiate documentation, knowledge-sharing, and creating of operating proceduresMentor junior developers and help them achieve more advanced skillsWhat we are looking for

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience5+ years of experience in the design and development of data pipelines, data marts, and data warehouses.1+ years of experience writing Databricks spark jobs and/or DLT pipelinesExcellent analytical and problem-solving ability with strong attentions to detail and accuracyExcellent understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional data modelingExcellent written and oral communications skills, with the ability to articulate complex processes to individuals of varying technical abilitiesExcellent Python skills with experience with other languagesExperience in Microsoft SQL Server and SSISLocation: Hybrid/On-site
