Tallon is recruiting for a Solution Architect to support big data infrastructure design for Air Force Financial Management (AF FM) systems. Prior experience with Air Force legacy systems, network, and infrastructure is required. This postion is a direct hire (W2 salary plus benefits) working directly for our client. The program requires an on-site hybrid schedule. Relocation support will be considered.
Role and responsibilities include:Work as part of a collaborative team with Air Force product and platform owners supporting big data infrastructure in a cloud environmentSupport design for scalable solutions and requirementsOnboard new use casesSupport functional and operational requirementsPromote best practices for policy implementationRequirements include:
U.S. citizenshipCurrent security clearance (Secret at a minimum)Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is preferred; equivalent years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree6 years of related experience developing business architecture and strategies supporting Air Force Financial Management (AF FM) SystemsExperience with SAF/FM systemsExperience working with AF FM legacy systems including:
Automated Business Services System (ABSS)Air Force Equipment Management System (AFEMS)Automated Funds Management (AFM)Civilian Pay Accounting Interface System (CPAIS)Central Procurement Accounting System (CPAS)Commanders' Resource Integration System (CRIS)
Experience developing target architecture and roadmaps and aligning technical goals with larger enterprise-level decisionsExperience with big data processing frameworks including Google BigQuery, Amazon Athena, and EMRExperience with SQL queries using Databricks, Redshift, or SnowflakeExperience developing and delivering presentations to senior management and stakeholdersProficiency working across MS Office Suite including advanced Excel skillsEffective written and verbal communication skills to work in a collaborative environment with government and contractor teamsAvailability to support on-site hybrid schedule (1-2 days/week)
