JOB DESCRIPTION

This position will help implement and maintain a new ecosystem of applications while supporting existing projects during the transition. We are looking for a skilled developer with expertise in C# programming to create test modules, utilities, and test suites using reusable libraries, as well as to oversee the engineering process.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, along with five (5) or more years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience in testing all layers of a web application, including front-end, service layer, and back-end connectivity.Strong proficiency in C# or Java programming and the .NET framework/.NET Core.Familiarity with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) tools like Jenkins for creating and maintaining both automation and manual testing infrastructure.Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.Strong grasp of automated testing implementation and strategies.Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.Knowledge of risk management and risk analysis processes.Comprehensive understanding of quality assurance processes and methodologies within a software development environment.Clear communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with project team members and stakeholders.Demonstrated proactive attitude.KEY REQUIREMENTS

C#, JavaScript, and .NET technologiesAPI implementation and testing experienceApplication Source control management in GitWrite efficient SQL queries and stored procedures to interact with SQL Server databasesCollaborate with end-users and stakeholders to understand and address user-reported issues and enhancement requestsDesigning, managing, and maintaining an automation test frameworkDUTIES

Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure an engineering process successfully supports the deployment of fully tested code to our environment within the accepted parameters defined by the teamDemonstrated experience implementing, configuring, and managing automated testing tools successfullyProven industry experience using Agile Software Development practices (Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, etc.)Lead reusable library development, automation script development, and optimization of those scriptsManage the execution of automated tests and its automated scripts integration with the test management toolCollect and report quality metrics from test executionsDevelop, execute, and lead (in collaboration with QA Manager) the automation planning, scripting, and maintenance strategyExperience measuring performance and performing load tests and strong understanding of how to interpret the results and determine root cause for issues identifiedSupport engineering, development, release management, and customer support organizations in troubleshooting and/or addressing issues with applications and environmentsExperience writing technical documents describing any technical deficienciesLeverage the Ranorex test automation framework to streamline the regression test creationUtilized SpiraTeam to generate detailed test execution reports and track progress against predefined test plansImplement branching strategies with TortoiseGit and be able to handle merge conflicts.Perform pull requests and code reviews for the Engineering teamStrong experience with any of the following languages: C#, Java, JavascriptRegularly document findings and processes on WIKI in Azure DevOpsCollaborate with DevOps engineers to automate deployment processes and ensure continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)
