Summary You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN) in the Special Projects Branch (JXYW) of Expeditionary C3I & Cyber Division (JXY) of Special Warfare & Expeditionary Systems Department (JX) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. NT-05 is equal to the GS-13/14. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $134,435). Responsibilities You will perform as Acquisition Program Manager for Special Operations Command (SOCOM), PEO SOF Digital Applications (SDA). You will plan, perform, and manage system acquisition program management activities to include software for a major element of complex systems, (i.e. acquisition and support; integration of engineering disciplines, or quality, testing and evaluation) You will generate specific plans, goals, and objectives consistent with higher level policies and requirements. You will coordinate with program managers, component combat developers, and matrix support personnel to maintain and expand knowledge of requirements. You will keep the PEO advised of significant actions or problems, recommending appropriate actions to resolve difficulties. You will comply with established security policies, directives, regulations and report all violations of security practices to the supervisor or security program manager as soon as discovered. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (NT-04 or GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, developing or managing system acquisition program management activities to generate specific plans, goals, or objectives for supporting acquisition requirements of an organization. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
