Job Title: Business AnalystLocation: Mountain View, CAPay Range: $60-$65/h on DOEDuration: 6 MonthsKey Responsibilities:Sourcing Analysis: Evaluate and optimize sourcing strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and cost-saving goals. Support 3P Forecasting model project to forecast Supplier and Category strategy.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing sourcing and procurement processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements that drive efficiency and ROI.Developing and implementing optimized processes and procedures to support GBS (Sourcing and Finance)Data Analysis: Utilize data to assess supplier performance, market trends, and sourcing outcomes. Pull and analyze reports to support decision-making and track process improvements.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand sourcing needs, address challenges, and provide insights for strategic sourcing decisions.Reporting: Develop and maintain regular reports on sourcing activities, highlighting key metrics, trends, and opportunities for improvement.Qualifications :Experience in business process improvement and analysis with experience in sourcing/procurement/payablesAbility to drive change, influence others, work independently as well as lead, and participate in cross functional teamsAble to effectively deliver clear, concise, and actionable messages both written and verbally, at all levelsAble to facilitate and work cross-functionally and across boundaries to accomplish UAT goalsAble to effectively drive action through communication of upcoming milestones, tasks, and goalsDrives the right level of accountability and shares responsibility for outcomesAnalytical and problem-solving skills. Using metrics to track and improve performanceAnticipates risks and opportunities informed by data to achieve best outcomesWorks well autonomously in an ambiguous environment; proactively asks questions to build clarityQuickly acquires new ways of seeing things, and pivots as circumstances changePreferred Skills:Familiarity with procurement processes (without being the primary focus).Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other data analysis tools.Certifications & Licenses:Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other data analysis tools
