Short Description: Under broad supervision, designs, codes, tests, modifies and debugs computer software. Complete Description: The State Accounting Office (SAO) provides accounting and financial reporting expertise for the State and is statutorily responsible for statewide financial reporting. The SAO also provides enterprise oversight and management of the State's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, accounting policy development, financial business process improvement recommendations, and management of the payroll and accounting shared service centers. Position Description: The Workday Integration developer creates and maintains Integrations within the Workday cloud-based software platform. The Integration developer develops integrations with third party vendors and other state agencies. The Integration Developer is responsible for researching, designing, delivering and maintaining integrations solutions in response to emerging Workday technologies, customer requests and ongoing operational changes. This is a time-limited, at-will employment position assigned to a project with an approximate 2-year life cycle. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: The primary purpose of this role is to design, build and implement robust solutions. This includes analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, implementation, training, and support of complex business and enterprise software solutions. Designs, develops, and implements Workday solutions focusing on Human Capital Management (HCM), Finance and Procurement. Configures and customizes Workday business processes, workflows, and integrations to meet specific organizational needs. Collaborate with stakeholders, such as Officers, Directors, Managers or Teams to understand their Integration needs. Stay updated with Workday releases and new features to leverage enhancements in integration capabilities. dhere to data governance policies and best practices to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality. Validate and reconcile data from multiple sources to ensure the reliability of report outputs. Document integration requirements, specifications, and processes for future reference and knowledge sharing. Conducts unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing for Workday solutions. Design, Build, Test, and Deploy Workday Integration solutions using Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, and web services, and core connectors. Education Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Skills and Competencies: 5 years of experience in Workday integrations development with strong experience in HCM and Financial Module integration Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Collaborates with functional stakeholders to assess Integration needs, gather specifications/requirements, and design integrations for development. Develop Workday integration using technologies such as EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, and Workday Studio. Experience with integration technologies including Web Services and APIs: (WSDL (Web Service Description Language), SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol), REST (Representational State Transfer) and WS (Web Services) standards, XML, XSLT, JSON, and Java. Knowledge in Integration security (ISU, PGP Key, MFA). Demonstrated ability with data migration, integration development, report building, and calculated fields as it relates to integrations.
