Complete Description:The State Accounting Office (SAO)provides accounting and financial reporting expertise for the State and isstatutorily responsible for statewide financial reporting. The SAO alsoprovides enterprise oversight and management of the State's Enterprise ResourcePlanning (ERP) system, accounting policy development, financial businessprocess improvement recommendations, and management of the payroll andaccounting shared service centers.

Position Description:

The Workday Integrationdeveloper creates and maintains Integrations within the Workday cloud-basedsoftware platform. The Integration developerdevelops integrations with third party vendors and other state agencies.

The Integration Developer isresponsible for researching, designing, delivering and maintaining integrationssolutions in response to emerging Workday technologies, customer requests andongoing operational changes.

This is a time-limited, at-will employmentposition assigned to a project with an approximate 2-year lifecycle.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:• The primary purpose of this role is to design,build and implement robust solutions.• This includes analysis, design, development,testing, documentation, implementation, training, and support of complexbusiness and enterprise software solutions.• Designs, develops, and implements Workdaysolutions focusing on Human Capital Management (HCM), Finance and Procurement.• Configures and customizes Workday businessprocesses, workflows, and integrations to meet specific organizational needs.• Collaboratewith stakeholders, such as Officers, Directors, Managers or Teams to understandtheir Integration needs.• Stayupdated with Workday releases and new features to leverage enhancements in integrationcapabilities.• dhereto data governance policies and best practices to maintain data accuracy,consistency, and confidentiality.• Validateand reconcile data from multiple sources to ensure the reliability of reportoutputs.• Documentintegration requirements, specifications, and processes for future referenceand knowledge sharing.•Conducts unittesting, integration testing, and user acceptance testing for Workday solutions.• Design, Build, Test, andDeploy Workday Integration solutions using Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB),Workday Studio, and web services, and core connectors.

Education•Bachelor'sdegree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (orequivalent work experience).

Skillsand Competencies:•5+years of experience in Workday integrations development with strong experiencein HCM and Financial Module integration•Abilityto translate business requirements into technical solutions.•Collaborateswith functional stakeholders to assess Integration needs, gatherspecifications/requirements, and design integrations for development.• Develop Workday integration using technologiessuch as EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, and Workday Studio.• Experience with integration technologiesincluding Web Services and APIs: (WSDL (Web Service Description Language), SOAP(Simple Object Access Protocol), REST (Representational State Transfer) and WS(Web Services) standards, XML, XSLT, JSON, and Java.• Knowledge in Integration security (ISU, PGPKey, MFA).• Demonstrated ability with data migration,integration development, report building, and calculated fields as it relatesto integrations.• Experience developing integrations for both Workday HCM andFinancials.• bilityto manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.• Strongattention to detail and accuracy.• Strongwritten, verbal communication skills and collaboration abilities.•Excellent attention to detail, problem-solvingand analytical skills
