Genesis10 is currently seeking a BI Developer our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for onboarding new Business Use cases, developing exceptional reports, dashboards, and KPI using Power BI desktop, Power BI report server and Power BI serviceutomate database integrationsScript solutions for monitoring and logging of production systemsCreate data feed jobs
Requirements:
Strong experience with data analysis, visualization, and reportingKnowledge of BI and ETL tools like Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, etc.Experience with REST API for custom integrations and extensionsFamiliarity with PowerShell for automation of administrative tasksExperience with java script or any other front-end scriptingManipulate and mine data from log files by writing scriptsdvanced knowledge of relational database design and data modeling skillsExperience writing extracts/pulling data from multiple database sources (Hadoop, Oracle, etc.)Strong SQL reporting skills with the ability to create SQL views and write SQL queries to build custom datasets for reporting or analysisExperience with database design, architecture, performance tuningDevelop and maintain SQL stored procedures and functionsutomate data processes that will feed data into dashboards
