Job Description:

PMO Lead

You will collaborate closely with the PM, Program and Delivery managers to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the customer's business and program needs that will drive our operational focus. Your insights and expertise will be critical in shaping the success of our transformation projects.

HOW A PMO LEAD WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned projects. Supervises at least 15 employees

Oversees daily operations of the PMO

Assists with providing direction and oversight to team leadership for completion of scheduled meetings and provides deliverables in accordance with the contract

Assumes ownership of account and program cost management, including working closely with assigned corporate financial analyst

Performs resource/staffing management, including forecast and projections

Lead teams responsible for tracking and submission of deliverables, including In-Progress Reviews (IPRs), Program/Project Manage Reviews (PMRs), project, financial, and asset reports, and all deliverables as defined in the PWS

Manages the process and team to generate monthly reports covering data collection, staffing, travel, and project management

Develop and communicate expectations, program risks, mitigation strategies, cost estimates, and evolve plans as risks materialize and priorities evolve.

Recruit, hire, manage, train, and evaluate assigned staff

Assures quality of program products, services, and deliverables, including participating in reviews and audits.

Participates in contract deliverable activities including task order modifications, customer invoice, CPIC reporting, CPAR, EPLC, and LCAT compliance

Coordinates and monitors sub-contract activities and administers sub-contractor deliverables and finances

Participates in special customer facing projects

Performs business development activities, including authoring and review of technical and cost proposals.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science

Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience

Required Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio, Knowledge of Agile methodology

Ability obtain a Public Trust

Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced collaborative team environment with adjusting priorities and deadlines, Ability to articulate contract requirements succinctly, Collaboration with the program teams, Superior multi-tasking and organization skills

PREFERRED SKILLS: PMP, Previous experience with enterprise wide government programs.

The likely salary range for this position is $123,250 - $166,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Paid leave and paid holidays are prorated based on the employee’s date of hire. The GDIT Paid Family Leave program provides a total of up to 160 hours of paid leave in a rolling 12 month period for eligible employees.
