Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Senior UX/UI Developer to join our growing company. You will work as part of a team designing and develop high-quality next-generation software solutions for a few of our product offerings.
The developer will not only turn wireframes and designs into reality but will also ensure that the interactive and visual elements of the product are optimized for usability, accessibility, and efficiency across all devices and platforms. They need to have the unique ability to balance form with function, ensuring that the aesthetic components seamlessly integrate with backend technologies to provide a smooth user experience. We foster a very collaborative environment with an emphasis on communication.
Principal Responsibilities:Create wireframes and user flowsCreate prototypes and improve them with new dataConduct user and product researchSet up information architecture to identify your buyer personaWork closely with the Product Owners to take feedback from User Groups and Forums and transform the needs into developed design elementsTake the images created by the UX/UI Designers and turn them into reality using current programming languagesOther duties as assignedQualifications
Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of coding languages like JavaScript, HTML, CSS, C++ and othersDeep-seated ability to take a design made in platforms like Figma and turn them into codeAbility to take a standalone application and transform its GUI into a web-based design, updating elements to make it more currentCommand of advanced application languages such as Ruby, PHP, Java, XHTML, Dot Net, Ajax, and othersKnowledge of Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and othersUnderstanding of Restful APIs of social networking websitesExperience with content management systems like WordPress, Magento, Joomla, WooCommerce, and others. Currently we use an internally developed system but knowledge of these offerings will be usefulCreating common looks across multiple applications and interfacesUnderstanding of SEOPhysical Requirements and Essential Job Functions:
This is a typical office job which requires the ability to sit for long periods of time at a desk with occasionally moving, standing, and walking. Requires rapid use of arms, hands, or fingers, in handling or manipulating objects, or operating equipment or instruments requiring fine eye-hand coordinationOccasionally requires repeated bending, crouching, stretching, or crawling, along with regularly lifting 10 - 25 pounds, occasionally up to 50 poundsWork environment is composed of moderate noise (examples: business office with computers and printers, light traffic)Ability to concentrate for hours at a timeProblem solving and complex thinkingAbility to communicate with stakeholders about requirements
