Our client in Katy, TX is looking for a contract

UI Engineer.

This is an on-site/full-time/contract-hire positionHourly range based on experience: $35/hr

Responsibilities:Responsible for developing pixel-perfect, robust, and accessible user interfaces on the web while maintaining a strong focus on performance.Responsible for developing customer-facing experiences using the latest coding best practices.Responsible for integrating and deploying experiences through CMS or personalization tools.Identify, track, and communicate risks for design and technical implementation.Work with designers and developers to ensure guidelines adhere to company standards.Work with cross-functional teams to understand and assist in defining and sizing epics, stories, tasks, and sub-tasks for team delegation.Leveraging data and insights for consistent improvement in the customer experience, performance, design, and engineering efficiencies.Leverage personalization tools to improve the customer experience journeySkills:

Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and Vanilla JavaScript: Demonstrated proficiency in HTML/CSS/JS for creating complex, high-quality web interfaces. JavaScript skills for developing interactive and dynamic web applications.Personalization Experience: Demonstrated experience in conducting A/B testing specifically within e-commerce environments. This includes designing, implementing, and analyzing tests to improve user experience, conversion rates, and overall website performance in a retail context.Cross-Platform Compatibility Skills: Demonstrated ability to ensure consistent functionality and appearance across various web browsers. This includes adapting web designs and functionalities for compatibility with different operating systems, devices, and screen sizes, ensuring a seamless user experience across all platforms.Content Management Systems: Proficient in using a headless content management system (CMS). This includes creating, managing, and deploying digital content across multiple channels using a CMS platform, and integrating it seamlessly with other web development technologies and tools.In-Person Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively in a non-remote, collaborative office environment including strong presentation and communication skills.Education:

Bachelor's degree in the relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience requiredWork Experience:

1 - 3 years of web development experience required
