Required Skills
: Apart from Azure, SQL the client also wants to see Python, FHIR and API skills.
Roles And Responsibility• Architect, Design and deploy Azure platform solutions to support data integration, transmission, transformation, reporting and analytics around healthcare data• Design and develop modern data solutions leveraging components like Azure Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Databricks and PowerBI• Provide oversight and guidance to Client's Azure Data Engineering, Business Intelligence teams other IT and business teams• Provide expert solutions coded in languages e.g. Python, Spark, T-SQL, Scala, C#.• Utilize and provide guidance regarding DevOps tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins etc.• Experience working with Azure data platforms, integration techniques & self-service data preparation.• Assist business and technical users on functional and data requirements to enhance data models and pipelines.• Design, develop, implement, and support complex Azure + PowerBI applications of strategic or functional importance including: integration with data sources; highly automated data refresh processes; best-in-class data visualizations, dashboards, and reports that communicate critical insights to drive decision making• Develop and maintain data management standards, and documentation of current data sources, raw data, data marts, transformations, and report specifications• Oversee data quality including validation, cleansing/scrubbing, ETL methods, etc.• Formulate and recommend standards for achieving maximum performance and efficiency of the data ecosystem• Participate in data integration, business intelligence (BI) and enterprise information management programs by rationalizing data processing to support reuse.• Ensure best possible performance and security of infrasturcture• Performs additional duties and activities as required.• Good experience in Azure architecture, design and development. Significant experience as BI/DW architect on several BI/DW initiatives• Experience working with health care data standards (X-12, FHIR, HL7) strongly preferred• Data security at a macro and micro level (platform, row-level, encryption, etc.)• Rich Data/Dimensional modeling expertise• Experience with Master Data Management, Data Governance, and/or Enterprise Information Management• Expert knowledge of Azure tools and services centered around data and analytics (Data Lake, Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL etc.)• Excellent understanding of Microsoft Power BI and other Microsoft BI platforms (SSRS, SSAS & SSIS)• Expert in BI Report & Dashboard development• Experience designing and building complete ETL processes moving and transforming data from ODS, Staging and Data Warehousing, cloud and hybrid• Experience with reporting and visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI & SSRS)
