Substitute Social Worker

As a Special School District (SSD) substitute social worker, you will be an advocate for students by ensuring that social, emotional, and environmental barriers are identified and, whenever possible, eliminated. Through your diligent use of strategies and resources, you will collaborate with parents, teachers, support staff, and others to provide students with the support they need to thrive and feel empowered.

Substitute social workers work primarily during school hours, but occasional evening hours may be required. Substitutes can serve single or multiple schools, depending upon their assignment.
