Our healthcare client is seeking an IT professional who will be responsible for overseeing the applications portfolio for revenue cycle to ensure systems architecture, design, and strategy meet and support business, functional, and technology requirements.

The Applications Architect will require an understanding of the Epic Revenue Cycle workflows and requirements for designing and building new and innovative workflows. The Applications Architect will have specific experience in scaling for growth, gathering detailed requirements, and providing solutions to meet the needs of the stakeholders.

Understands system limitations and finds creative solutions to keep the project moving forward.Able to manage the providers and business stakeholders to gain acceptance from proof of concept to implementation to go-live.Ensures ease of maintenance, application performance, and compatibility with new and existing systems.Identifies and documents all integration points across the applications portfolio for new and existing systems, including all third-party vendor systems.Provides technical direction and guidance to application teams when implementing new systems. Defines limitations and requirements.Uses critical thinking in troubleshooting, researching, and solving technically challenging problems involving integrated systems.Collaborates with other stakeholders to ensure the architecture is aligned with business requirements.Key Accountabilities:

Designs system architecture and strategy to meet business, functional, and technology requirements and develops techniques to improve system and optimize hardware utilization.Ensures the integration of all aspects of software solutions including upstream, downstream, and surround systems.Provides resolutions and recommendations to leadership or analysts regarding all systems and solutions that affect clinical, revenue cycle, and business systems.Analyzes and resolves complex issues escalated by analyst, leadership, or key stakeholder, providing technical knowledge and identifying solutions to update and/or create new policies that meet all necessary requirements.Collaborates with various teams and stakeholders to build, test, and maintain integration points across applications and to implement and adhere to internal break/fix processes and change management policies.Gathers requirements, provides fit gap analysis, and creates effective technical solutions to support the needs of the business.Documents limitations, risks, and product/application deficiencies based on business requirements.Collaborates with business users to identify and document current state and future state workflows for a given application or solution.Requirements:

7-10 years of experience is requiredA bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, IT/Systems, Healthcare, or a related field; or 7-10 years relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree for those candidates who have a proven track record in the field of handling responsibilities associated with the outlined job responsibilities/summaryApplication-specific Epic certifications (3) are required - Cadence, Grand Central, and PreludeExperience with HB and / or PB Resolute Billing, working with complex changes and projects, is requiredHealthcare experience in a hospital, medical practice, or health system is preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skills is requiredAbility to effectively translate IT terminology and processes with key stakeholdersStrong customer service skillsAbility to multitask in a high-pace work environment
