The US Data Insights team is seeking a Senior Business Technical Analyst to support projects for the remainder of 2024.The team works with US restaurant data supporting a variety of high-profile projects (how many registers deployed, versions, updates needed, etc.)The Senior Business Technical Analyst is responsible for engaging end users and stakeholders in gathering & defining business requirements, data validation and analysis, identifying, documenting and testing system and process changes, and conducting data gap analysis.This role interacts with many levels of the organization, including both technical and non-technical users.Defining and documenting business requirements which can then be turned into technical instructions to be handed off to a technical resource.Active participation in product design reviews, to ensure compatibility and interoperability of a variety of systems.Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for documented solutions during all phases of SDLresC.Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems, and develop strategies for improving, or further leveraging, those systems.Document technical solutions in a manner based off of review of code, procedures and interfacing with other SMEs.Presents complex data in an understandable format in a way that is suitable across diverse groups with varying technical abilities.Visualizes data in a clear, structured way utilizing preferred BI tools (PowerBI or similar).Projects focus on restaurant infrastructure & server metadataQualifications :

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, System Administration, or related fieldMinimum of 7 years of experience in business analysis, with a strong focus on data integration and data management.Skilled working with databases both relational and document DB.Experience with the development, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale software development projects.Scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell Visual Basic and their use to manage computer equipment in large, networked environments.Experience in documenting complex business and functional requirements for software development.Experience in isolating, replicating, reporting, and verifying defects and detect fixes.An understanding of Windows environments, software deployments and serversSQL - Oracle or SQL ServerDocument DB / No SQLWorking knowledge of Microsoft Active DirectoryBusiness intelligence reporting tools such as PowerBIBasic networking and firewall rules knowledgeAbility to troubleshoot complex technical solutionsExcellent communication skills with the ability to ask clarifying questionsExceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities with a keen attention to detail.Project management experience to report and track status of deliverablesdCan drive projects forward from a functional standpointTroubleshooting abilities, technical knowledge, business process, time management and data analysis skills.

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
