Job Summary:

The Material Handler will distribute either production or non-production items and materials to various locations throughout the plant. Materials may consist of purchased parts, in process parts, or finished goods.Responsibilities:

Move materials with equipment to support production processes.Create kits of materials to align with upcoming build schedules.Remove and dispose of non-production materials such as cardboard, dunnage, scrap, trash, and pallets.Track material movements into and out of controlled locationsComplete basic computer transactions to transact movement of materialsMaintains the required paperwork and documentation of all parts and materials moved in accordance with the specified proceduresEnsures work areas and other designated work areas are maintained in a safe and neat mannerCycle Count materialsOrganize materials for an orderly work environmentMoves parts or finished product and delivers mail packages to various department locations and/or warehouse locationsOperates various material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and rolling carts and or move items by WAVs cart and utility vehicles to and from warehouseAssists with the training and instruction of new employees who may be assigned to this areaSupports the QMS by delivering quality products and services and meeting quality objectivesWorks to consistently meet and exceed customer requirementsContinuously strives for operational excellence and continuous improvementWill be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assignedProvide guidance while ensuring a safe and productive work environmentStocking and arranging of product to ensure warehouse turns of inventoryResponsible for supporting the manufacturing process by receiving and transporting components to the manufacturing floor in accordance with predetermined safety, quality, method, and sequence standardsQualifications:
