Summary:

The Material Coordinator coordinates all activities related to raw material storage, issuing of materials to production, and maintenance of related records.

Responsibilities:Coordination and communication with production and inventory personnelAnalysis and evaluation of materials and issuing of released jobs to ensure support of customer deliveries and operational performanceTrack inventory of raw material and job transactions for issuingIssues and delivers parts and materialsMaintains inventory cycle counts and performs physical inventoriesDrives vehicles to transport stored items from warehouse or to pick up items from other locations for shipmentStocks warehouse and ensures that materials and parts in the warehouse are stored and accounted for properlyPerform other duties as assignedRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to follow standard operating proceduresAttention to detailStrong mathematical and analytical skillsAbility to manage time effectivelyGood interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well both verbally and writtenExcellent planning and organization skillsMust be able to stand for long periods of timeAbility to lift up to 35 lbs.Must possess a valid drivers licenseMust be able to operate a forkliftQualifications/Education:

High School Diploma or EquivalentPreferred two to four years related experience, or combination of education and experienceVery detailed oriented individual with good verbal and written communication skillsApics Certification PreferredInventory management experience required, using MRP/ERP systemsAble to read and follow complex written instructionsComputer experience required, specifically Excel
