Chaminade College Preparatory is seeking an experienced full-time Network Manager for its multi-campus environment. The position is responsible for the daily performance and availability of Chaminade's network, infrastructure, connectivity, and systems.

The Network Manager duties include:

Design, build, support, and monitor the network infrastructure

Responsible for the availability, performance, and security of all switches, access points, controllers, and firewalls.

Oversee and manage the schools Active Directory and M365 environments

Responsible for the uptime, performance, and security of both on-prem and cloud-based servers and resources.

Manages all printing environments, local printers and MFC copiers using PaperCut

Maintains the school's wireless network for both availability, performance and security

Manages the school's backup, data retention, and data recovery operations

Designs, implements, and manages all identity access management functions including MFA, SSO and federation operations

Responsible for user on-boarding and off-boarding, account creation and configuration including rights, access, legal holds, and other related duties

Designs, upgrades, and maintains all structured cabling systems including fiber and copper premises wiring.

Collaborates with the Endpoint Technology Manager to ensure all workstations are patched, up to date, secure, and operating as designed.

Engages with school leadership and Instructional Technology Specialists to ensure seamless delivery of services to our students, faculty, and staff.

Builds relationship with various vendors and contractors to assist in achieving department project goals

Network Manager requirements and qualifications

BS degree in Computer Science or related field or relevant work experience

Minimum of 5-10 years of experience designing, maintaining and troubleshooting a Microsoft Active Directory and M365 environment supporting 2400 users and over 3000 devices

Comprehensive expertise in Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking in a multi-location environment

Microsoft Entra Management - Cloud, Infrastructure, Entitlement, and Management

Proficient in PowerShell scripting

Solid knowledge of Microsoft Licensing practices including workstation, server, M365 and A5 products and services and applications.

Solid understanding of AD, Azure, and AWS administration including Radius Servers and GPO

Extensive experience with Windows Server 2012, 2019, 2021 and Windows Virtual Server.

Expertise in device monitoring - SNMP, PRTG, Intermapper, etc

Previous experience and expert knowledge of HPE Aruba switches, AP's, Aruba Central and FortiGate firewalls

Knowledge of ITIL and ITSM best practices.

Experience with VOIP systems and Security Camera systems

Ability to manage staff to ensure timely delivery of services and solutions

Previous experience with SolarWinds, Zoho ManageEngine products, Student Information Systems and Learning Management systems are a plus

Other duties as assigned

Salary and Benefits

This is a full-time, 12 month per year, salaried/exempt form overtime position. The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience.
