We are seeking a skilled and dedicated IT Manager to join a Charlotte branch. This role is integral to their team as they transition from third-party management to a more hands-on approach. As the IT Manager, you will lead a two person team with the plan to extend the team in the future. This role is mostly systems based with a little bit of networking so candidates must be skilled in both. and ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:Management:
Lead and oversee a team of 2 direct reports, with plans to expand the team in the future.Hands-On Technical Support:
Engage in a variety of tasks with a focus on systems (80%) and networking (20%).Systems Administration:
Manage and maintain Windows environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Office 365.Network Administration:
Handle Cisco Meraki and Palo Alto security solutions.Transition Management:
Oversee the transition from third-party management to in-house operations, ensuring a seamless changeover.Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement strategies for system improvements and growth.Qualifications:
7+ years experience in IT management with a strong background in systems and network administration.Expertise in Windows, VMware, Office 365, Cisco Meraki, and Palo Alto.Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage IT operations effectively.Detail oriented and skilled in coordinationWeekend or evening work is expected if needed as well as traveling as neededWhy Join Us?
