Sr. Software Engineer

who can handle the pace. The successful candidate will create innovative applications and toolsets to automate internal tracking tools and information-gathering processes. This role is all about modernizing the current environment to accelerate the delivery of mission-critical information, enhance operational efficiency, and improve situational awareness.

What you will do

Designs software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manages their implementationManages software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques and Computer-Aided Software Engineering (CASE) toolsEstimates software development costs and scheduleReviews existing programs and assists in making refinements, reducing operating time and improving current techniquesFormulates and defines specifications for software applications or modifies and maintains existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturerResponsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentationInstructs, directs, and checks the work of other task personnelResponsible for quality assurance review and the evaluation of existing and new software productsWhat you need to have

Bachelor's Degree and 10 to 12 years of experience; Master's Degree and 8 to 10 years of experience; PhD and 5 to 7 years of experience (in lieu of Bachelor’s degree, 6 additional years of relevant experience)

Clearance: Must Possess and Maintain a TS with Polygraph ClearanceExperience with several of the following:

AWSFull-stack experience (good understanding of how the front-end and back-end work together)Micro-service-oriented architectureStrong experience with Kubernetes (specifically cluster development, management, and monitoring)Authoring experience with Helm (creating & deploying)Docker & associated technologies (e.g., docker compose).
