Responsibilities
Create network traffic rules in AzureCreate network routing mapsMaintain documentation of subnets (13+), VLANs, and VoIP.Manage SSL certificate requestsRun PowerShell reports on active directory objectsStand-up cloud networking resourcesProcess DNS requests for public websites and IT resources (IPAM, Infoblox)Interface with external IT service providers regarding networking change requests from lab staffTest data transfer rates and channel bandwidth between buildingsGather data storage requirements from lab staff for implementation into existing IT data storage architecture.Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience and appropriate technical certifications5+ years of experience managing resources within Azure/AWSExperience managing private networks within AzureComprehensive RBAC and EntraID knowledgeAble to work with vendors to evaluate, procure, implement, and maintain SaaS toolsAble to work within a ticketing system (SNOW) to process various networking related requestsBasic understanding of SQL, database, and web-app resourcesUnderstanding of CISA security principlesAbility to translate technical information to non-technical staff.Comfortability managing complex networking projects with multiple switches and data sources.Elite problem-solving skillsExperience standing up hybrid data storage architecture (On-Prem + Cloud (Hot) + Archival)Must meet all requirements for obtaining and maintaining a Public Trust ClearanceDedicated to providing the best possible customer serviceEnjoys working in a team environmentDemonstrates good written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:
Exposure and functionality managing resources within AWSExperience managing NetApp Volumes On-Tap or other SaaS/PaaS tiered storage toolsExperience with Kubernetes, Docker, or containerization toolsExperience with endpoint management tools such as Ivanti/PDQ/JamfExperience with Cisco ISE (NAC), Infoblox (IPAM), and AWS (archival storage).Passion and skill for quickly learning new tools and approachesAbility to adapt to rapidly changing requirements with a flexible and creative engineering-focused approach to brainstorming, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
