Gardner Health Services is currently recruiting to fill a

Community Health Worker - Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program (CPSP)

position. This is a full-time position based out of the Gardner South County Health Center located in Gilroy, California. Under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer or Designee, the Community Health Worker (CPSP) is responsible for Prenatal Program Orientation, prenatal needs assessment, Childbirth Preparation Classes and OB reassessments related to education/interventions based on CPSP program guidelines.Applications will be reviewed on a first come, first serve basis. Minimum Qualifications:

The minimum qualifications of the position are listed below. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

High School Diploma or equivalent.Medical Assistant Certificate from accredited program and/or One year experience in providing parental education preferred or related pertinent health education experience.Bilingual English/Spanish, preferred.Knowledge of medical terminology.Must be able to work flexible hours as needed.

Compensation:

Compensation and level of position placement will be determined based on relevant experience and education.
