Job Title: Power BI Reports DeveloperClearance Required: US Citizen; DHS Public TrustWork Location: Hybrid - Arlington, VA & Remote (onsite as requested by client)Alpha Omega is seeking a qualified Power BI Reports Developer to support an IT portfolio within a PMO for one of our clients.Key Responsibilities:Designs and develops advanced analytics, dashboards, and reports utilizing industry standard BI and reporting tools, to include but not limited to, SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence suite, MS Power BI, or TableauParticipates in business analysis activities to elicit stakeholder requirements to drive key business decisions and translate this into specific technical requirementsImproves existing reporting and analytics by gathering user feedback to re-design, improve, merge, or add new content into existing BI reports

Required Qualifications:Education:Bachelor's Degree in Business or an IT related field, which can be substituted for technical certifications or relevant experience

Experience/Skills:

3+ years prior business analyst experienceAbility to work in a team-oriented environment for a matrixed organizationStrong knowledge and experience with data reporting tools including Microsoft PowerBI, SSRS, Tableau, etc.Strong knowledge of productivity tools such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Experience with Agile and SCRUM processes and methodologiesFamiliarity with Government Processes, including Federal Acquisition & FinanceKnowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) practices, principles, and techniques as they apply to Agile development processExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to listen and relate with the customerAbility to effectively collaborate with internal and external customersDemonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesProven ability to communicate technical details to a non-technical audienceExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong team player that is willing to help other team members at all times

Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of SQL Databases and Query CreationKnowledge of the Federal Acquisition Lifecycle or commercial contractingKnowledge of Federal financial systems or commercial accountingAbility to develop training materials and conduct end-user training sessionsExperience with Federal government contracting and/or program office organizations business processes

Preferred Certifications:Certifications that show the desire for learning and continued education (e.g. IBM or Tableau certifications)
