Turion Space is seeking an experienced DevOps engineer with strong AWS expertise, including Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service), and proficiency in TypeScript and AWS CDK to join our growing team on location. You will be responsible for managing our AWS infrastructure, including EKS clusters, implementing infrastructure as code using AWS CDK with TypeScript, and maintaining the integrity and security of Turion's CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate should be a problem solver who excels in coding, has broad knowledge of AWS services, and is excited to use their diverse skills to deliver high reliability and consistency in our space technology infrastructure.

Note: This is an on-site position. We do not offer remote or hybrid work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with every team in our office, every workdayManage and optimize our AWS-based infrastructure, including but not limited to EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, and LambdaDevelop and maintain infrastructure as code using AWS CDK with TypeScriptDesign, implement, and maintain our Amazon EKS clusters, ensuring high availability and scalabilityImplement and improve CI/CD pipelines for our applications, both containerized and non-containerizedConfigure and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting for our entire AWS infrastructureImplement and maintain security best practices across our AWS environmentContribute to and maintain codebases primarily written in TypeScript, Python, and GoAutomate workflows to improve developer productivity and system reliabilityParticipate in the on-call rotation to support system reliability (details to be discussed during interview)Collaborate with software engineers to enhance product operability and maintainabilityBenefits
