Senior Business Analyst

that is detail-oriented and customer-focused to work within a project team in support of a Federal Agency. Duties will include stakeholder engagement (at all levels of the organization), agile user story and requirements development, wireframe development, strategic analysis, IT governance analysis and recommendations, and development of findings and recommendations, among others.Position Responsibilities

Lead strategic consulting projects and provide advisory support to government clients for major IT organization transformation initiatives

Provide analysis, documentation, group facilitation, client coordination, and subject matter expertise support for business transformation

Develop and update governance structure, policy, and resource planning documentation

Prepare agendas and meeting minutes for customer and team status meetings

Support project planning and management activities, including risk and QA management, and monitoring and reporting

Lead daily Scrum meetings, conduct sprint planning, and lead sprint retrospective sessions.

Apply best practices in service management including those based in Lean Six, Six Sigma, Scrum/Agile

Evaluate current (as-is) business processes and develop recommendations for more effective and efficient future (to-be) processes by leveraging business process reengineering best practices.

Evaluate and develop strategic recommendations regarding improvements to existing IT governance structures.

Position Requirements

Bachelor's (Four) year in an information technology, business or related discipline.

A minimum of

eight (8) years BA experience with 3 years recent experience in leading SharePoint (PowerApps)

design project efforts for a federal government agency or private sector entity.

A minimum of five (5) years in performing requirements gathering and documentation.

A minimum of five (5) experience in using Lean, Lean Six and/or Six Sigma lifecycle.

A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in creating wireframes as well as visual design.

Strong working knowledge of Requirements Gathering methodologies (e.g., Wireframes, Prototypes, JIRA, user stories, epic stories, flow-chart diagrams.

Thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies is a must. Examples include: Surveys, Workshops, Interviews, brainstorming and other ways to capture tacit knowledge.

Applied knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Fireworks and associated design tools.

Strong written and verbal communication skills will provide hands on technical leadership, final QA of deliverables, hands on support on all tasks as required as well as continuity of support for the project.

Strong skills in MS Office Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio.

Ability to support the integration and adoption of IT process, standards, policies, and controls

Strong mix of project management and major IT transformation experience

Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively in a team environment

Ability to work independently, take initiative

Strong group facilitation and communication skills

Strong consulting skills - including excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience specifying challenge areas, framing questions around the challenges, gathering and analyzing data to answer the questions, and developing recommendations based on the data

Great client relationship management skills.

Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

Familiarity with federal policies and practices around IT, innovation, and web engagement

Candidates must be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government contractor badge.

Public Trust Clearance desired.

U.S. Citizenship is a requirement of the federal contract.
