As a

Bilingual Social Worker

for our Wraparound program, you will deliver culturally responsive services and lead a collaborative planning process for youth and families who are referred through Child Welfare, Juvenile Probation, or County Behavioral Health departments. Services will be provided almost exclusively in the community: in families' homes, foster homes, schools, other community locations, etc. for youth who could require being placed in out of home care or are stepping down from a higher level of care. The primary role is to ensure a sustainable network of unpaid supports (i.e. extended family, mentors, teachers, coaches) are working together toward stability for the youth and family.

ABOUT PROGRAM

Seneca offers "Wraparound" services to children and youth susceptible of placement, and to their families. The Wraparound programs are strengths-based, family-driven, flexible, and creative, with the goal of helping the family develop the skills and supports to prevent or reduce the possibility of out-of-home placement of their child. A family-based team addresses the needs of the entire family, not just the child of focus. This family-based team consists of family members, Seneca's Therapists, Support Counselors, Family Partners, Facilitators and other community members who have an important role in the family.
