The Student Involvement and Leadership Center (SILC) is happy to be a part of the Office of Student Life. The Involvement Ambassador is often the first impression a student, staff, alumnus or community member of our office.
Job Summary
Department-Specific ResponsibilitiesProvides vital front desk and administrative support for the SILC team and in our student organization co-working space.Helps other students with registered student organization management which can include how to use beINvolved and how to market their organization's events.Provides information on the resources and opportunities for students to get involved through the programs and resources of the Student Involvement and Leadership Center. sHelps students navigate involvement opportunities, basic event planning processes and policies, and the resources available for student organizations like training and leadership opportunities.Serves as the front-line resource for students and student organizations and assists with facilities management and administrative tasks like answering phone calls, overseeing the departmental email account, and coordinating the delivery of mail to the department and student organizations.Qualifications

1 year of experience working in a customer service rolePreferred

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.

This is an in-person position.
Advertised Salary
$12.00 per hour
