Scope of Role
The Warehouse Associate position is generally responsible for safely and accurately moving, transporting, coordinating and/or expediting flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within the Boston Gear facility with the objective of meeting or exceeding internal and external customer expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Receive and inspect incoming shipmentsPick material and deliver to appropriate area(s)Enter shipments into designated computer systemStage and store materials in proper locationsIf applicable, scan the material using a computer and SAP applicationResponsible for proper care of powered industrial equipmentMaintain 5S to ensure the work area is kept clean and orderly at all timesOperate forklift/powered vehicle in a safe manner at all timesOther duties as assignedCritical Competencies

Potential physical demands include, but are not limited to: frequent walking, standing, twisting, carrying and handling; regular bending, stooping and kneeling; regular lifting up to 50 lbs.; occasional climbing, pushing and pulling. Work Environment:
Majority of time is spent in a manufacturing production environment with some (but not all) climate-controlled areas.
