Overview

LMI is seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to lead a team of individuals in the redesign, development, and maintenance of SharePoint sites for a Veteran's Affairs client. The Technical Product Manager will lead multiple technology product delivery teams, drive program schedules, manage project financials, and ensure high quality delivery of LMI contracts.

A successful Technical Project Manager will be highly skilled in the oversight and management of technical projects from start to finish and be familiar with executing in an Agile framework. A successful Technical Project Manager will be detail oriented, possess the management skills to hold people accountable to quality expectations and timelines, and respond quickly to evolving client needs. A background in digital transformation, software development, and/or User Experience/Human Centered Design is highly desired. The Technical Project Manager must demonstrate competency in leadership, strategic thinking, relationship management, multitasking, schedule management, and delivery excellence, while upholding the highest standard of ethical behavior.At LMI, we're reimagining the path from insight to outcome at The New Speed of Possible. Management of a team, utilizing an Agile methodology, that emphasizes iterative development, collaboration, and flexibility to complete projects

Ensure that goals, requirements, and outcomes are defined and that the appropriate resources are allocatedMonitor team performance to ensure that projects are implemented, supported, and closed accurately and in accordance with key milestones and established project standards are upheld and clearly defined throughout the entire process of each project's development and executionFoster positive working relationships with team, client personnel and leadership counterpartsPrioritize tasks, set deadlines and assign resources to each projectTrack cost, schedule and performance, as well as prepare documents and develop project specific policy, procedures and report status to all levelsManage staffing requirements, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and executionManage task assignments and oversight of personnel to ensure excellence in services deliveryDevelop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports and ensure such deliverables are submitted in a timely fashion and of high quality/accuracyEngage directly with stakeholders and support the team in gathering and documenting requirementsConduct project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysisProvide technical and analytical guidance to the team

Qualifications

REQUIRED:Bachelor's Degree or higher in related fieldMinimum of 3 years consulting experience and leading a team of individuals to a successful solutionScrum Master CertifiedExperience leading a team to a solution utilizing the Agile frameworkTechnically adept and business-focused to interface across technical disciplines and senior leadershipSuperior communication skills, both oral and writtenStrong problem solving and analytical skills with a "client first" attitudeDemonstrated ability to lead teams to successful outcomesExceptional organizational skills and a deep understanding of Project Management best practicesDemonstrated ability to balance competing priorities and exhibit flexibility based on changing client needsHigh level of business acumen, ability to develop and implement strategyStrong connector - make insightful connections to bring the right people together to solve problems and grow the businessMust pass National Agency Check Background Screening to support government clientPREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:Master's degreeExperience leading SharePoint development and implementation, or a similar web-based solutionOrganizational change management understanding and/or certificationsExperience with Human Centered Design principles and methodologiesExperience managing projects that require 508 compliancePrevious experience within the government contracting spacePrevious experience in the Higher Education, Research, or Healthcare space
