We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer who can help the Perchwell team accelerate its code deployment process through the development of better testing and automation throughout our entire stack.

Our Devops team partners with our Application teams to discover and understand what is needed to increase ownership and empowerment across the whole Engineering and Product department.

In this role, you'll work out of our New York City Office in Soho Manhattan at least 3 days/week.

What You'll Work OnPartner with Engineering teams to build tooling and monitoring capabilities that help increase team ownership and transparency over our infrastructureImplement new configuration management tools, and design solutions pushing the philosophies of automation and infrastructure as codeDesign, build and maintain the core infrastructure of our platform, utilizing best practices of containerizing and automation to facilitate CI/CD pipelinesRequired For the RoleBS or MS in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent experienceDeep experience with AWS cloud services including (but not limited to): EC2, RDS, EKS, CloudFront, ECR, S3, IAM, CodeBuild, Lambda, and Route53Experience with containerization and orchestration toolsKnowledge of infrastructure automation tools3+ years of experience collaborating on software development projectsDeep experience with at least one common programming languageFamiliarity with our core tech stack of Docker, K8s, Terraform, Helm, ArgoCDBonus Points if You Have Experience with Any of the FollowingAdministration of PostgreSQL databases, Elasticsearch, Ruby on Rails applicationsAdministration of Sidekiq, SQS, RabbitMQ, or other queue or Pub/Sub implementationsWorking with and administering Data pipelines for ETL purposesImplementing and working with both internal and external RESTful APIsFamiliarity with SRE fundamentals, and pushing best practices with Reliability, Observability, and supportCompensation:

To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base salary ranges for all US-based job postings regardless of state. Our ranges are based on function and level benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including skills, job-related knowledge and depth of work experience.

The compensation for this position is $140,000- $165,000 base salary + equity + benefits
