Job Title : Network Engineer
Contract : 12 Months
Location : New York, NY
Job/Role Description:Lead the review, resolution and implementation for the most complex technical issues and initiatives related to large scale network applications, data systems, voice and other technical products and servicesUse and create diagnostic, simulation and other tools to maintain, troubleshoot and restore service or data to systemsUtilizing Ansible orchestration and Python scripting to simplify high volume and/or high-risk tasks for business partnersKnowledge and experience working with JSONKnowledge and experience working with RESTful APIEvaluate or review queries to extract data, create standard procedures, or perform limited programming to fine tune systems supportedResearch performance trends and recommend process improvementsPerform complex migrations from development to production, upgrades, installations and configurationsMake decisions in security and regulatory policies to design and implement foolproof secured network solutionsAssess changes for risk to production systems and assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported areasIdentify gaps in current technology processes and recommend changes to assure Service Level Agreements can be supportedRequired Skills/Experience:
5+ years of advanced scripting experience using Unix Shell Scripting, Ansible, Perl,Python, YAML, Java, or PL-SQL5+ years of experience developing and using RESTful Application Program Interface (API)5+ years of experience with Linux OS environment2-5+ years of experience with source coding in one or a combination of the following: GitHub, SVN(Subversion), TFVC (Team Foundation Version Control) or TFSGit (Team Foundation ServerAgile methodology experienceKnowledge/Skills/Ability to identify key issues, involve affected parties, design solutions, obtain buy-in, and communicate effectively through resolutionExperience working in a large enterprise environment
BS/BA degree or higher in information technology or equivalent work experience acceptedExperience in process Improvement (6 Sigma), solution implementation, and change managementHow to Apply : send resume and contact information to
