Data Architect . As a Data Architect at Daikin, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing our enterprise analytics infrastructure across multiple business functions, applications and systems. Under limited supervision, you will act as a subject matter expert focusing on ensuring the efficient ingestion, curation, and modeling of data across various platforms, enabling seamless data flow and accessibility. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders to design and implement a robust data architecture that supports business objectives and enhances decision-making capabilities. What you will do:Expert in the design, oversight, and implementation of data architecture solutions, ensuring data is accurately ingested, curated, and modeledUses professional concepts in accordance with company objectives to solve extremely complex problems in creative and effective waysAdvises and regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customersExercises independent judgment in developing, approving and maintaining a data hub as a central repository, managing data flow and ensuring high performance and reliabilityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutionsCreate and manage IoT and social web architecture, making data accessible and meaningful to business usersEnsure compliance with data governance policies and best practices, supporting data catalog and dictionary effortsOversees the integration of legacy data warehouses into the new data architecture, retiring outdated systems as well as system documentation used in design, testing or programming effortsContributes technical guidance to the development fo data architecture to support business strategiesProvides mentoring for other team membersWhat’s in it for you:

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field10+ years of experience in data architecture or a related field, with a strong understanding of cloud-based data solutions or equivalent combination of education and 8+ years' experience requiredWork visa sponsorship is not available for this positionPreferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related fieldExperience with Digital Twin, Simulation and Building Information Modeling (BIM)
