Job Description
Tyto Athene is searching for a
Desktop Support Level II
to join our Youngstown, OH team. This is acomplex, multi-year contract to support the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) Information Technology (IT) Services.
Responsibilities :
Provides support to end-users for PC, server, mainframe applications, and hardware.Performs configurations, installations, diagnostics, upgrades, repairs and preventive maintenance of personal computer products and peripheralsMay interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem.Simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties.Recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems.Maintains currency and highest level of technical skill in field of expertise.Requirements:
Recommend 5+ years of experience managing network modernization work or system projects of similar scope and complexityExperience as a desktop support technician or equivalent.Capabilities needed to deliver in-person and remote IT aid.Fantastic installation, diagnostic, upgrade, and restoration abilities.Excellent vertical and lateral thinking.Superb time management skills.Clear written and verbal communication.Forbearing, flexible, and supportiveOn site support in Youngstown, OHActive DoD SecPlus certification.Security Clearance Required:
Active DoD Secret clearanceTravel Required:
Minimal, less than 10%Potential for Telework:
